ChronoPress

Name

ChronoPress – Chronologica Corpus

Description

ChronoPress is a corpus and search engine, encompassing approximately 100 thousand fragments of press releases covering the years 1945-1964, and ultimately – the Centenary of Polish Independence (1918-2018). The texts are tagged morphosyntactically and include metadata. This allows for searching concordances, generating frequency lists and word profiles, but also a particularly innovative function – displaying timelines of particular words’ uses, or in other words, the chronological analysis focused on the evolution of lexeme frequency in time.
